Airport arrival guide · LTN

London Luton Airport to central London

The rail journey has two parts: a train to Luton Airport Parkway and the separate Luton DART connection to the terminal.

Choose by the last mile

The best route is the one that reaches your hotel simply

Coach

A coach can remove the DART change, but compare its actual London stop and traffic exposure with your hotel.

After baggage reclaim

A three-step arrival plan

  1. 1

Follow signs from the terminal to the Luton DART.

  2. 2

At Parkway, confirm whether your train is an express or stopping service.

  3. 3

Treat the DART transfer, platform wait and final London interchange as separate time blocks.

Payment and luggage

Ticket conditions vary. The airport warns that a Parkway-only destination does not automatically include the DART fare.

Keep luggage manageable enough to lift, turn and move through a busy interchange without blocking doors or aisles.

Late arrival

Published Luton Airport Express times vary by day. Use the live timetable and retain a coach or airport-hotel fallback for a badly delayed flight.

Do not attach a timed fan attraction to flight arrival day unless losing it would be acceptable.

Build the rest of arrival day

Keep it flexible, local to the hotel and easy to abandon if the flight is late.
