What may—and may not—enter the library
Permitted
- Original vector art based on public London architecture and geography.
- Owner-made photographs with recorded date, author and reuse permission.
- Clearly licensed images with creator, source, licence and required attribution.
- Editorial maps whose coordinates, estimates and limitations are documented.
Prohibited
- Unlicensed film stills, posters, book covers or promotional artwork.
- Recognisable actor or character likenesses generated or copied for decoration.
- Imitated official wordmarks, crests, type treatments, packaging or attraction branding.
- Images presented as field evidence when no field visit or provenance record exists.
